Download and install

Getting started with Quickfix AI is simple—download the app, drag it to your Applications folder (or run the installer on Windows), and you're ready to go. The whole process takes just a couple of minutes, and the app works on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs as well as Windows PCs with Intel, AMD, or ARM processors.
System requirements
Quickfix AI is designed to run on most modern computers without any special requirements. The app needs about 100 MB of disk space, 4 GB of RAM, and an internet connection for scanning and viewing your diagnostic report online.
| Requirement | macOS | Windows |
|---|---|---|
| Operating System | macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later | Windows 10 (1809+) or Windows 11 |
| Architecture | Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) or Intel x64 | x64 (Intel/AMD) or ARM64 |
| Disk Space | 100 MB | 100 MB |
| RAM | 4 GB minimum | 4 GB minimum |
| Internet | Required for online reports | Required for online reports |
Quickfix AI runs natively on both Intel and ARM architectures with no emulation required. On macOS, the app is a universal binary that runs natively on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) without Rosetta. On Windows, we provide separate builds for x64 and ARM64, so Surface Pro X, Snapdragon laptops, and other ARM devices are fully supported.
Downloading and installing
Visit quickfix.ai/download and click the download button for your operating system. The website automatically detects your platform and architecture, so you'll get the correct version without having to choose manually.
On macOS, open the downloaded .dmg file and drag Quickfix AI to your Applications folder. When you open the app for the first time, macOS may show a security warning because the app was downloaded from the internet rather than the App Store. If this happens, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to find the message about Quickfix AI, and click "Open Anyway." This is a one-time step—macOS remembers your choice for future launches.
On Windows, run the downloaded .exe installer and follow the prompts. If Windows SmartScreen appears with a warning, click "More info" then "Run anyway" to proceed. After installation, you'll find Quickfix AI in your Start menu ready to use.
Verifying authenticity
Both the macOS and Windows versions of Quickfix AI are digitally signed to ensure you're running authentic, untampered software. On macOS, the app is signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple—you can verify this by right-clicking the app, selecting "Get Info," and checking for "Signed by: Developer ID Application: Micropages BV."
On Windows, the installer is signed with an EV (Extended Validation) code signing certificate. To verify, right-click the installer, select Properties, go to the Digital Signatures tab, and confirm "Micropages BV" appears in the signature list. This EV certificate means our identity has been thoroughly verified by the certificate authority.
Getting started
When you first open Quickfix AI, you'll see a brief privacy disclosure explaining what data is collected during scans. Take a moment to review it, then click "I Understand" to continue. This disclosure only appears once—after that, you'll go straight to the main screen on every launch. You're now ready to run your first scan!
If you run into any problems during installation, our installation troubleshooting guide covers common issues like Gatekeeper warnings, SmartScreen blocks, and antivirus false positives.
