Sharing your report

Last updated February 4, 2026

Getting help with computer problems is much easier when the person helping you can see exactly what's going on. Quickfix AI makes sharing your diagnostic results simple—just send a 6-character code and anyone can view your full report online. You can also export a PDF if you need a permanent copy for your records or want to attach it to an email.

Share codes

Every diagnostic report comes with a unique 6-character share code that you can give to anyone who needs to see your results. This is particularly useful when getting help from IT support, a technician, or even a friend who's good with computers—they can view your complete system diagnostic without needing physical access to your machine.

To share your report, complete a Quick or Advanced scan, then click "Copy Share Code" to copy the 6-character code. Send the code via email, message, or support ticket—anyone with the code can view your full report at quickfix.ai/report.

Saving a permanent copy

While share codes are convenient for quick sharing, you might want a permanent record of your diagnostic results. Every report includes an "Export PDF" button in the header that saves a complete copy to your computer. The PDF includes all the same diagnostic data as the online report—hardware specifications, health scores, findings, and recommendations—in a format you can keep indefinitely or attach to emails.

Reports expire after 30 days. For privacy, reports are automatically deleted after 30 days. Export to PDF if you need a permanent record or want to track changes over time.

Privacy considerations

Your report contains detailed information about your computer's hardware, software, and system configuration. While it doesn't include any personal files, passwords, or browsing history, you should still treat your share code with some care. Only share your code with people you trust to see your system information—IT professionals, repair technicians, or friends helping you troubleshoot.

If you want to "invalidate" a share code after a support session, simply run a new scan to generate a fresh code. The old report remains accessible for 30 days, but you control who gets the new code.
