We take your privacy seriously. Quickfix AI only collects the technical information needed to diagnose your computer—things like hardware specs and system health metrics. We never access your personal files, passwords, browsing history, or anything private. Your data is encrypted, automatically deleted after 30 days, and never shared with anyone else.

Our approach to privacy

Quickfix AI is designed with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. We collect only the system information needed to generate your diagnostic report—hardware specifications, operating system details, and device health metrics. This data helps identify issues and provide useful recommendations, but we deliberately avoid anything personal.

What we collect

Quick scan data

System Model name, serial number, OS version, build number, uptime
CPU Model, core count, current usage, temperature
Memory Total capacity, used/available, memory pressure
Storage Drive type (SSD/HDD), total capacity, free space, health status
Battery Charge level, cycle count, condition, max capacity
GPU Model name, VRAM
Displays Resolution, refresh rate, connection type
WiFi Network name, signal strength, connection type

Advanced scan (adds)

USB devices Name, manufacturer, connection type
Bluetooth Paired devices and connection status
Audio Input/output devices
Printers Connected printers
Processes Running process names with CPU/memory usage
Applications Installed app names and versions
Network Download/upload speed, latency, jitter, packet loss

What we never access

Quickfix AI never accesses:
Personal files • Passwords or credentials • Browsing history • Messages or emails • Location data • Financial information • Biometric data

Software authenticity

Quickfix AI is verified by both Apple and Microsoft to ensure the software you download is authentic and hasn't been tampered with. The macOS version is signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple, while the Windows version is signed with an EV (Extended Validation) code signing certificate. This means you can verify you're running legitimate Quickfix AI software, not a modified version.
